    Hello,

Just to add that there will be a meeting of the low carbon refurb group on Wednesday, 20th February at 7.15pm in the Bishop on the Bridge pub.

Please bring note pads and diaries so that we can swap details, pool knowledge, note our strengths and start acting on climate change in the domestic sector.

Your thoughts and ideas are much anticipated. I have a few ideas to put to the group- many of which came about from a discussion with Pete Pitfield and Hena Chowdry.

We are looking at starting a Greening Campaign (Terena Plowright gave a wonderful lecture on this last week- see http://www.greening-campaign.co.uk ) in one of the parishes; circulating EST survey forms to give information on energy efficiency of houses and advise of corrective measures; starting community advice schemes to give free, impartial and accurate advice encouraging all Winchester’s households to lower their carbon footprint.

Let me know if you can make it as a low turnout will mean postponing the meeting.

Sorry for the late notice, I hope that you can come.

    Best wishes

    Jess Lloyd
