Arts Director

Winchester Action on Climate Change recruiting for a temporary part-time Arts Director develop and promote a cultural and social programme initially between July and November 2009.

A self-starter is needed with professional experience of working in the performing or visual arts, with some experience of fund-raising, arts management or administration, and with a serious appreciation of the opportunities – as well as the threat - arising from human caused climate change.

The job will be offered as a temporary part-time appointment working for a total of 40 days spread over five months. WinACC has a small office in the University of Winchester, but it may be either desirable or necessary for the Arts Director to work mainly from home. Some flexible working – including a willingness to work on occasional Saturdays - will be necessary.
