We have the hot water in the winter on for only 10 mins in the morning, which is ample for two of us, augmented as it is by the solar panels. In the summer, the solar heating by itself is sufficient”

I have dug up the concrete slabs that the previous owners had put in the back garden and we have replaced with lawn and flower beds..will be tackling the concrete front garden this summer....”

“There is no way of calculating carbon footprint of other parts of daily lifestyle - eating meat for example is a bigger contributor to climate change than aviation and all the other forms of transport put together if we are really serious about tackling climate change we need to reduce our addiction to eating animals!!!!”
