Open, friendly meetings with time for discussion  - for new people and WinACC supporters alike.

As part of our environmental policy, WinACC wants to reduce the environmental impacts of our events by providing materials electronically rather than in paper form.  Speaker presentations made available to us will be posted on our website, normally the day after the event.

July 2017

Traffic congestion was the biggest challenge identified by last year's conference Winchester: Thinking Ahead. As the conference report said, "Winchester will inevitably change – to manage it, we need to address movement – i.e. how people move about the city, including walking, cycling, public transport, traffic congestion as well as cars and other vehicles."

At the Hat Fair this year, WinACC will run our pollution poll to ask people what they want done about air pollution in Winchester. We ran this twice last year - see the findings.

These joint meetings arranged by WinACC and Friends of the Earth are the ideal way for newcomers to find out more about climate change and environmental issues, and what's going on in Winchester . We aim to be friendly, welcoming and lively, and to thrash out our view on important policy issues at each meeting. Free, all welcome. Come at 7.15 for free coffee or tea and networking.

October 2017

WinACC's AGM is a great way to find out what we've been involved in over the past 12 months and our plans for the year ahead. Elections to the board are held at each AGM.
