This is the first of a series of events for public, private and voluntary sector businesses to help them cut their greenhouse gas emissions, save money and attract green customers. The events are part of the Winchester Declaration on Climate Change which aims to cut the carbon footprint of Winchester district by 20 % by the end of 2012.

Marwell Wildlife is serious about its impact on the environment, and winner of the Green Innovation Award at the 2010 Winchester Business Excellence Awards. Despite the unusual nature of their business, the technologies and techniques adopted at Marwell are relevant to organisations throughout the Winchester District. We are indebted to Duncan East, the Sustainability Manager at Marwell, for making this visit possible.
