AN ARTWORK FOR SOUTH WONSTON VILLAGE HALL
SATURDAY 15TH OCTOBER 2011
3.30 – 5.00 pm

On Saturday 15th October a new artwork for South Wonston Village Hall will be unveiled. This event will see the culmination of the project Past Matters that has been taking place throughout the year. As well as being able to get the first sight of this glass artwork, fabricated by artist Alex Hoare and Ian Kirkpatrick, there will be displays of work by South Wonston Primary School Pupils, and photographs collated during the project.

Help decide which eco initiatives will be set up as a result of the project. Solar energy for the village hall – and local homes? Car-sharing? A cycle path from South Wonston to Winchester? A permanent home for the South Wonston allotments? A plea to ‘Let our verges grow wild!’? What do you want to make happen?

There will be tea and cake and Alex Hoare will talk about the artwork and the project as a whole. All welcome.
