Monday, 29 October 2012 - 5:30pm to 7:00pm

Regular monthly meeting. The Built Environment Group promotes energy efficiency in housing, both new and old. It works with the Council on planning policy, and has practical projects. It is now planning:

  1. an event to encourage people to make their homes more energy-friendly when they are doing building works anyway, targeted at professionals who meet people in that situation such as estate agents, Planning officers, Building Control, builders. This includes retrofitting and domestic renewables.
  2. Another open-house weekend, showcasing both new and retro-fitted homes. Anyone who would be wiling to show their home or who knows someone else who might, please tell BEG.

Meets 5.30 on the first Monday of each month (sometimes re-arranging when this clashes with   holidays). Contact BEG@winacc.org.uk if you want to come to a meeting.
