This eco-workshop will look at the process involved in setting up a community-owned renewable energy company from someone with first-hand knowledge.

Guest speaker Howard Johns founded a local energy co-operative project OVESCo in his home town of Lewes three years ago and last year they set up Britain's first community owned PV power station, installing 100kW on the roof of a local brewery.

Howard will go through the process of setting up a community owned energy company covering legal structure, site selection, insurance, development, fundraising, return on investment and more.
