Saturday, 18 October 2014 - 1:00pm to 4:00pm

COIN have organised this free event to learn how climate change is involved in the floods and how to talk to others about the risks to our communities.

Places are free but must be booked here

Extensive flooding affected hundreds of people in Hampshire earlier this year. With winter just around the corner, people are asking many questions such as:
- Is the flooding going to get worse?
- How is climate change connected?
- What can we do?
Join others in your community for this interactive workshop to discuss these issues and plan for the future.
For more information about this event, please see COIN's blog post about their flooding workshops as well as their "After the floods: communicating climate change around extreme weather" report.
COIN is a non-profit based in Oxford that focuses on climate change communication. Their aim is to build cross-societal acceptance of the need to tackle climate change. They work with UK government departments, local government, charities, faith organizations, the general public and many more.
