Sunday, 29 November 2015 - 1:00pm to 4:00pm
The organisers write:
We will be meeting to demonstrate to our leaders that we want them to commit to a future powered with clean energy, with clean air to breathe and to keep climate change below the crucial 2 degrees warming.

The biggest climate summit of the decade is starting the day after this event in Paris. Let's demonstrate that we care about our environment and climate, to give our government the courage and motivation to take the steps they need to ensure we protect our planet for our future and that of our children.

It's going to be fun and entertaining! Please bring along banners and anything else you think will add to the atmosphere, including as many friends as you can!

The last protest, in August 2014, attracted 200 people with just 2 weeks' notice, over 2000 people in Southampton signed the accompanying petition, and over 675,000 people marched worldwide. Lots of people and organisations took part to make it a really fun and inspiring event. This one will be even bigger and better!

Planning meeting on Sunday 1 November at 12noon at the Art House Cafe, 178 Above Bar Street, Southampton, SO14 7FP - all welcome
