Tuesday, 17 May 2016 - 7:30pm to 9:15pm

Have you got questions about  composts with the lowest carbon impact or planet friendly ways to kill slugs and snails? Or do you want some great ideas on how to start growing food on your patio or windowsill?

Ask our expert panel about growing your own food - vegetables, fruits and edible flowers. Kevin Hobbs from Hillier Garden Centre and Nursery, Jamie Cryer from Sparsholt College, John Wigginton of Winchester Horticultural Society and Phil Jeffs from Worthy Plants will be answering all your questions - whether you are an experienced grower or just starting out.

Send questions in by 16 May to food@winacc.org.uk or call 01962 827083

These joint meetings between WinACC and Friends of the Earth are an ideal way for newcomers to meet people and find out about what's going on in Winchester on climate change and environmental issues. We aim to be friendly, welcoming and lively, and to thrash out our view on important policy issues at each meeting.

Free, all welcome. Come at 7.15 for free coffee or tea and networking.
