Does membership bring any obligations?

We hope that your organisation will honour its pledge to take action to reduce Winchester district’s carbon footprint and that you and your colleagues will get involved in WinACC in other ways.

Your organisation’s only legal obligation to pay up to £1 should WinACC ever be dissolved, to help meet any debts or liabilities. Obviously, we aim to manage WinACC’s finances in such a way that this would not be needed.

Can we register other staff to receive information from WinACC?

The registration form only allows you to name one person as WinACC’s point of contact with your organisation. That person will receive any official information about your organisation’s membership of WinACC and will be its appointed representative at meetings and in elections.

If other staff would like to receive information from us, please ask them to become individual members of WinACC or register with us as a non-member.

The person you named on the registration form as WinACC’s main point of contact with your organisation is appointed to represent your organisation at WinACC meetings and vote on its behalf.
