Warrens Commercial Office Supplies is WinACC's first Organisational Associate Member
Winchester Action on Climate Change (WinACC) is pleased to announce that Warrens Commercial Office Supplies, the well known local stationery and office supplies company, is the first business in the district to become an Associate Member of the organisation.
Associate Membership is a way for businesses to demonstrate their support for the aims and objectives of WinACC before they are ready to publish their carbon footprint and become full members of the organisation. Warrens is fully committed to becoming more aware of their environmental impact and is using this opportunity to take advantage of the support that WinACC can provide to enable them to develop their environmental policy and define the boundaries of their carbon footprint calculation.
Paul Morgan, Managing Director of Warrens said,
“As a business that prides itself on its local presence, Warrens is proud to be the first Associate Member of WinACC. We are keen to reduce our environmental impact and the opportunity to work closely with a local initiative like WinACC in developing our policies and deciding upon the actions that will reduce our carbon footprint is important to us. Becoming more sustainable makes really good business sense and we are aiming for full membership of WinACC by 30th September 2009.”

Hi,
Climate change is really and important matter that we need to focus on today not later. We should keep this our first priority right now since it will determine our future. Wherever you go now climate change is one of the priorities of all nation.
Everybody is working hand on hand in the government to make sure we wouldn't much feel the climate change. This wouldn't be working very well though if the people wouldn't cooperate and participate in the program that would help the environment. We are looking forward to better and brighter future so, achieve it we have to overcome this struggle that we have to go through.
