The Winchester Town Access Plan will guide transport development within Winchester town over the next 20 years. Consultation has been officially extended to 28 November 2010 so you still have a chance to get your views heard.  The plan is online and available to download at http://www3.hants.gov.uk/hampshire-transport/transport-schemes-index/taps/tap-winchester.htm. You can send your comments via their online form aat https://eforms-ext.hants.gov.uk/AF3/an/default.aspx/RenderForm/?F.Name=JKK6TdWmY2h .

WinACC's Transport group chair Mike Slinn has prepared answers to the consultation, question by question, which you can get by clicking here.

If you care about climate change and the impact of traffic on the city, please reply to the consultation. Whatever else you say, please say that you want Winchester to be a walkable city, where cycling and walking take priority over cars, and where good public transport means no-one is forced to use a private car because they have no alternative.  Download or see WinACC's Transport Group submission.
