WinACC needs someone who can be the official treasurer, which also means becoming a WinACC Trustee. This is an unpaid post, takng perhaps an hour a month on average.

The ideal candidate would have an accountancy qualification and financial experience at a senior level in a smallish organisation, preferably another charity. But we are very happy to discuss other possibilities. So if you have the expertise but don't have the time to be an active trustee, or if you would like to be treasurer but don't have all the expertise, please get in touch!  

The most important role of the treasurer is to make sure that we are keeping financial records accurately and honestly, and that we are accurately forecasting our income and expenditure. The treasurer is not expected to do the day-to-day book-keeping or get involved in fundraising (unless they want to).
