From Saturday 4 July together with the South Downs National Park and the East Hampshire Community Rail Partnership, Go South Coast offer the South Downs Rambler bus service.

The service runs Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays between 4 July and 31 August. The route starts in Winchester and goes to Petersfield via Hinton Ampner House, Bramdean, West Meon, Exton, Old Winchester Hill, East Meon and Langrish, approximately following the course of the South Downs Way footpath in Hampshire.  Most importantly the service links up with trains at Winchester and Petersfield Railway Stations to encourage visitors from further afield.

It's ideal for those who love exploring the South Downs countryside in a sustainable and green manner, and with a couple of stops close to local pubs, you can make the most of the local hospitality along the way too!
