1. Basingstoke Green Week. A week of events across Basingstoke on building awareness of, and practical advice on, leading a more sustainable live.  There are over 30 separate events between Saturday 16 September and Monday 25 September.
  2. Does Basingstoke have a problem with Air Pollution?  Basingstoke Transition Network and Friends of the Earth have been monitoring air quality across the Town. The results are disappointing. 5 of the sites showed air pollution levels that exceed legal limits for NOx.  Another 4 sites showed levels that strongly indicated that legal limits for particulate matter are also being exceeded.
  3. BTN and FoE are hosting a public meeting on air pollution on 7pm Thurs 21st Sept at Brookvale Hall RG21 7RR. All welcome.
  4. Ever wanted to build your own solar powered charger? As part of the Green Week BTN are running a workshop on how to build your own solar powered charger. Spaces are limited but tickets are still available.
  5. The Big Green Science night. A family friendly series of events explore the science behind being green.  Tickets are available but must be pre-booked.
