Winchester City Council is consulting on a draft Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) for the Central Winchester Regeneration Area (which includes Silver Hill).

The draft Supplementary Planning Document was prepared by JTP architects and masterplanners. It sets out a vision and urban design framework for the future development of the area.

The draft will be considered by the Council’s Cabinet on Wednesday 6 December. The public are welcome to attend this meeting.  Formal consultation starts after that meeting agrees to consult, but the City Council invites feedback any time from now on. All comments made will be considered as part of the consultation process.

WinACC's Built Environment and Transport Action Group will discuss its response at its next meeting at 6 pm on Monday 27 November. They'd welcome any thoughts from WinACC supporters. Please send your comments to transport@winacc.org.uk before then, or contact them to arrange to come to the meeting.
