As the WinACC Food Action Group (‘Incredible Edible Winchester’), we support people to eat a more sustainable diet as there is a clear connection between food production and climate change.

People can reduce their greenhouse gas emissions by wasting less food and reducing the packaging they use.

We value wildlife, the seasons and the natural cycles which provide clean air and fresh water. We recycle our food waste into soil we can use to grow food again. We want people to enjoy healthy lives in sustainable communities.

Join us on Saturday and Tuesday mornings at our community allotment for a real “hands on” outdoor experience. We also meet on the first Thursday of every month at the University of Winchester. Contact food@winacc.org.uk for further information.

We support the emerging Winchester Food Partnership and welcome opportunities to assist and advise community food growing ventures.
